Claude Tayag is a renowned Filipino painter, sculptor and furniture designer. He is also a handy chef. When he's not mixing paints or chopping garlic, he's mincing words on his keyboard dishing out stories on food and his travels. His book FOOD TOUR, takes the reader on a culinary adventure around the Philippines and beyond. It won the Best Philippine Culinary Travel Guide in the Madrid based GOURMAND WORLD COOKBOOK AWARDS 2007. He is also co-author and the food stylist of KULINARYA - A Guidebook to Philippine Cuisine launched last October 2008. Tayag is The man Anthony Bourdain tapped to cook and show him around the culinary treasures of Pampanga in No Reservations which was aired last Feb. 2009 in the US.
