Drawings, Alfredo R. Roces: 20-year Retrospective, 1954-74 : Small Gallery, Cultural Center of the Philippines

When Albano invited me to put up a show at the Small Gallery of the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 1974, I chose to present a 20 year retrospective show entirely of drawings. I sneaked in a political comment about Martial Law that happily escaped everyone's notice --Caged Drawing and Bottled Drawing. Published by Infinity 1975, 21 cm. Original covers, 121 pages in English. Paperback, very good to near fine. Covers age yellowed, non-Dewey label on spine, previous owner's rubber stamp and notation that it was purchased in 1975, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Consists of 8 pages essay, 3 pages chronology and the drawings (in black and white). Softcover.
