Dapitanon by Noel G. Villaroman

This book by Noel G. Villaroman brings to light Jose Rizal's lost years in Dapitan, where he was exiled from 1892 to 1896. It presents an almost month by month account of his stay in the remote town in Mindanao, which was under the jurisdiction of the Jesuits. In the four years he stayed there, he continued his medical practice and pursued scientific studies as well as artistic and literary works.
